Use / import email box in Gmail

If you want e-mail addressed to mailboxes that you have created on your domain in Gmail, then you can use the import function of Gmail. This is a more reliable way than creating a Forwarding e-mail address that forwards the e-mail to your Gmail account because the e-mail can not be marked as spam by accident.

An example. You use firstname.lastname@gmail.com , but you also want to receive email for info@domainname.com in your Gmail account. Then you can also easily receive all e-mail to info@domainname.nl in your Gmail box.

If you currently forward the e-mail, you must first delete the forwarding address in the Control Panel on ac.managedomain.nl and create the address as Mailbox. The overview of the settings can best be saved,

As these are required in the following steps.

          1. Creating a cookie you go to Gmail and click on the settings wheel (top right).

          2. Then choose settings. Then choose Accounts and Import. In that tab click on Add a POP3 mail account(Add your own POP3 mail account).

          3. In the pop-up window that appears, enter the my_name@domainname.nl and follow the steps. Note that your POP3 Username (username) is the entire e-mail address, so info@domainname.com and not like Gmail only represents the first part (info).

          4. The incoming and outgoing server name is in the overview of settings after creating the e-mailbox. The server name usually ends with .... managedomain.nl
