This article will help you move your e-mailboxes from your previous provider to us.

Settings in the Control Panel

Make sure that all e-mail boxes and possibly forwards as they are now set on the domain are also created with us before the domain relocation is started. Then no e-mail will be lost. 

Incoming mail

          For the settings, depending on whether the account is now set as POP3 or IMAP mailbox, it must either be updated or re-created. When it comes to IMAP, it is probably sufficient to update the incoming server name to the correct server name. The username is your entire e-mail address, with some providers that is only the prefix. When re-configure, you can use these instructions: Support

Outgoing mail

          If the outgoing e-mail also ran it must be changed by the hosting provider. If it ran via the internet provider, that is not necessary. E-mail archive Please note that if you now use IMAP, and the e-mails are on the server of the old provider, which will not be moved. To transfer that you can drag all e-mails in your e-mail program to a local folder. Do not forget to include the Sent Items folder if it is on the server, but often it is local.

A trick to see if e-mail with your provider is there to log in on a webmail client (in your browser). Then you see exactly which e-mail is with your provider.
