2 - Determine your hosting package

After selecting a domain name, you are asked to choose a hosting package. You can opt for a Personal, Professional or Small Business package. For a normal site you will have enough of a Personal package. However, if you expect a lot of visitors on your website, you can make the consideration for a larger package. If you do not know exactly what the best solution is, contact us to discuss your considerations.

3 - Wait for an e-mail indicating that your order has been completed.

After choosing a domain name and hosting package, you can only complete the order. This ensures that the order ends up in our system and you only have to wait for the e-mail to complete the order. In total you will receive three e-mails, one containing all important login codes and the last e-mail confirming that the order has been completed. After you have received the last e-mail, you can get started with your new website.

4 and 5 - Log in to the Customer Care Center and select your domain name

In the second e-mail you receive, all log-in codes are listed. The first step you will make is log in to the Customer Care Center via https://www.managedomain.nl/ . Then click on the link of your newly created domain name. In the next screen you get a lot of options to adjust and change. The most important are the Email Settings and Install WordPress, if you are just starting to create your website.

6 and 7 - Click on Install WordPress, choose which language you want to use and click on Install

The first step to a WordPress website by means of an installation on the domain name. In the CCC (Customer Care Center) you click on Install WordPress. Everything is set up correctly here and there is no need to fill in a folder. It is also useful to select the desired language. Which language do you want to use from now on when using WordPress in your website? This is possible in both English and Dutch. After making the choice, click on the 'Install' button and the system will install WordPress on your chosen domain.

8 - Define your username and password

The last step in the installation of WordPress is to determine a username and password. Choose it carefully, since you will use it every time you log in.

9 - WordPress is now ready to use on your domain name

If you have chosen a username and password, you will be redirected to the installed WordPress package and you can start using it immediately. With this you have gone through the entire process and you can start making your website. If you want to change your site at a later time, you simply add / wp-admin to your domain name, such as http://www.example.com/wp-admin. Here you can log in and continue with the customization of your site.
