Step-by-step guide

In most cases this is because you use your own (external) mail server. When adding a web hosting package, standard by default e-mail is configured in the mail server (for shared web hosting, but also if you have your own server or VPS). Sometimes, however, you use a different mail server for the domain. The fact that the e-mail is also configured with us is usually no problem, unless the e-mail "comes along" our mail server. This happens, for example, if you have a form on your website that sends e-mail to an e-mail address on this domain.

What happens then is that our mail server receives the e-mail, and instead of delivering it to the real (external) mail server, he tries to deliver the e-mail locally. This will not work, and the e-mail will be bounced (but that bounce unfortunately does not arrive so the e-mail "disappears").

Step-by-step guide

The solution is  to  is to switch off the mail delivery with us via the control panel ac.managedomain.nl  . This can be done via E-mail settings-> Email Delivery Main Switch . Your panel.Your domain will then be removed from our mail server so that the e-mail arrives at your own mail server.

In the new control panel ac.managedomain.nl this switch is at the bottom of email under the Advanced control panel go to your domain, then choose Email and click on Advanced Settings tab. Also remove any email addresses that you may have set up on the Accounts tab. See screenshot below.
