Step-by-step guide

Remove spam instead of marking

By default, our spam filter marks unwanted e-mail with [SPAM] in the subject, so you can easily recognize it in your e-mail program or move it to a separate folder via a filter. If you do not want to receive these e-mails, you can change the spam action in the https://ac.managedomain.nl/ to "Immediately delete".

Less spam received (checklist)

1. If you receive a lot of unwanted spam that is not marked in the subject with [SPAM], you can raise the filter level in the https://ac.managedomain.nl/ With the spam filter on Extended, messages are more likely to be spam than on Standard.

2. In addition, we strongly recommend that you disable the catch-all function (so that all e-mail addressed to your domain arrives in the specified e-mail box). This will reduce spam.

3. Place your e-mail address as little as possible on public websites. It is better to make an image of the text with your e-mail address, or to replace the "@" sign with "at". As a result, e-mail address harvesters are less likely to get your e-mail address.

4. Do not respond to spam messages, and do not click on links from a spam message. If you do that, you will know that your e-mail address will be read.
