Secure FTP (FTPES) is available to all web hosting customers. This makes it possible to connect an encrypted FTP to your website, so that your password and sensitive files can not be intercepted. This is especially important in public environments (eg WIFI hotspots) to keep your website safe. FTP is by nature not protected against eavesdropping. Making an FTP connection in the unsecured way remains possible. To use FTPES you must indicate this in the settings of your FTP client. For this the server type (or connection type) must be set to "FTPES" or "FTP TLS / SSL".

You can follow this step:

  1. Click Site manager in menu File
  2. Click New site and put your domain in the left
  3. Put host, user and password
  4. Choose encryption: Require explicit FTP over TLS
  5. Choose logon type: normal
  6. Click connect to connect your server
  7. Check box to always trust certificate
